"Remember the Cross" at Koinonia on Route 66

Koinonia Church is encouraging both sinner and saint to take up their cross and follow Jesus (Luke 9:23). To support this mission, we are developing a new property located at 15600 Central (old Route 66) in Tijeras Canyon. (See map here.)

 

We consider this new location an outreach to the lost as well as a place of encouragement for believers. We're developing a new welcome center that will direct people to 10 "reflection stops" for personal contemplation, prayer, and spiritual refreshment. These 10 stops, with a cross of remembrance at each location, will retrace the pivotal steps of Jesus' journey to the cross, and will be spread throughout 25 acres of this beautiful outdoor spiritual center.

The  church also envisions the facilities and property being a place for Christian spiritual retreats and gatherings.
